The National Committee on North Korea's website offers the following resources:
Briefing Papers: These short pieces are written with congressional staff in mind. They contain overviews of broad topics such as extremely condensed reviews of historical topics, as well as concise reports of narrowly focused policy developments such as Banco Delta Asia, BDA, US Government annual drug trafficking reports and the DPRK, appropriations, sanctions, etc.
Database of DPRK Policy Documents: This data base gathers documents not readily available at other sites, with a focus on policy and government documents, especially the US government: legislation, congressional statements, op-eds by members of Congress, Congressional Research Service reports, international agreements and treaties, etc. It also has reports and articles by NCNK members, and reports from NCNK-supported activities and conferences. Though the data base is still small, it is probably the most extensive searchable DPRK-specific data base for U.S. policy documents. Use the Document Type function to narrow your search.
Links: The links page provides links to the websites of governments, think tanks, blogs, etc. with information about the DPRK. You can review the whole list, or browse by category using the table of contents that appears in the upper left-hand corner of the links page.
Member Directory: NCNK members have expertise on a wide variety of issues in relation to the Democratic Peoples' Republic of Korea (DPRK). If you would like to get in touch with a member who has chosen not to list his or her contact information on our website please send an email; we will be happy to forward your message.
NCNK Newsletter: This page has the NCNK newsletter on exchange activities with the DPRK; the newsletter was launched in February 2008 and comes out once a month. Sign up for the newsletter here.
News Releases: This page organizes topics by "folder;" and captures under each subject heading information about a given topic (such as UN Resolution 1718) or multiple articles about a given event in the news. This is one of the most valuable parts of the website, but it gets very few hits. If you have suggestions on how to improve its usability, please send an email.
The Photo page is still under construction.
