Pyongyang, December 30 (KCNA) — The National Defence Commission of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea Friday released the following statement:
...No sooner had the important report of the DPRK been released than the south Korean puppet group convened an emergency “state security meeting” and “state affairs meeting” and put even overseas missions on emergency alert duty, kicking off rackets to create the impression that a “contingency” was created as expected, and a “golden opportunity” presented itself to lead the north to “system change”.
The south Korean authorities put the three services of the puppet army on an emergency alert and ordered them to adopt combat posture, creating a war-like atmosphere on the ground and in the seas and air. They let over 30 right-wing conservative reactionary organizations flock to the forefront areas to scatter anti-DPRK leaflets whose content was hurting the dignity of the supreme leadership of the DPRK and inciting disturbance.
Solemn National Memorial Service for Kim Jong Il Held
Pyongyang, December 29 (KCNA) -- A solemn national memorial service for Kim Jong Il, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army, was held in Pyongyang Thursday.
Kim Il Sung Square was wrapped in a solemn atmosphere.
The dear respected Kim Jong Un, vice-chairman of the Central Military Commission of the WPK and supreme leader of the WPK, state and army, appeared on the tribune of honor.
Kim Jong Un Visits Bier of Kim Jong Il
Pyongyang, December 27 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, vice-chairman of the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea and supreme leader of the party, state and army, Tuesday visited again the bier of leader Kim Jong Il and expressed profound condolences.
Overcome with the bitterest grief, Kim Jong Un, together with senior officials of the party, state and armed forces organs, paid silent tribute to his bier, praying for his immortality, and looked round it.
Kim Yong-nam Meets S. Korean Mourners' Group
Pyongyang, December 27 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, Tuesday met and had a talk at the Mansudae Assembly Hall with Ri Hui Ho, widow of ex-President Kim Dae Jung, and Hyon Jong Un, chairwoman of Hyundai Group, and their parties of south Korea who came to Pyongyang to express deep condolences on the demise of leader Kim Jong Il.
Ri and Hyon expressed deep condolence over the death of Kim Jong Il.
They hoped for the implementation of the June 15 joint declaration and October 4 declaration and expressed the willingness to carry them into practice.
UNFAO Hoists Flag at Half-mast
Pyongyang, December 26 (KCNA) -- The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations hoisted the flag at half-mast on its building on Dec. 21 over the demise of leader Kim Jong Il.
At a staff members meeting of the organization held on the same day the participants observed a minute silence in memory of Kim Jong Il.
Meanwhile, the Secretariat of the organization proposed to the Technical Working Committee chairmen to pay silent tribute to Kim Jong Il at its meetings.
Kim Jong Un's Loving Care for the People
Pyongyang, December 25 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, vice-chairman of the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea, has personified the love shown by leader Kim Jong Il for the people.
On December 24, all the servicepersons and people were deeply touched by the warm love shown by Kim Jong Un.
He earnestly instructed the officials to provide the people with convenience on a top-priority basis under any circumstances so that they might not be affected while mourning the demise of Kim Jong Il day and night in profound grief.
Message of Condolences from UN Secretary General
Pyongyang, December 24 (KCNA) -- UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon sent a condolence message to the government of the DPRK Friday on the demise of leader Kim Jong Il.
He, on behalf of all the UN organizations, expressed condolences once again to the government and people of the DPRK.
The people of the DPRK are looking forward to the future amid the sorrow at the loss of their leader, the message said.
Ban hoped that the people of the DPRK would make progress in their efforts to ensure peace, stability and development.
As UN secretary general, he reaffirmed his commitment to peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula.
He also assured the continued support of all the UN organizations for the people of the DPRK.
Korea Will Accomplish Cause of Songun under Kim Jong Un
Pyongyang, December 24 (KCNA) -- The Korean people will accomplish the cause of the Songun revolution to the end, definitely calling Kim Jong Un supreme commander, true to the oath they took before the bier of leader Kim Jong Il in bitter tears.

Pyongyang, December 22 (KCNA) -- More natural wonders have been observed in different parts of the country since it was shocked by the sad news of the demise of leader Kim Jong Il.
On Wednesday people in the villages near the Military Demarcation Line including Sinhung, Ryongjong, Haephyong, Phungdok and Ryongsan-ris in Kaesong City observed natural wonders.

Medical Analysis of Kim Jong-il's Demise
Pyongyang, December 19 (KCNA) -- Leader Kim Jong Il had received medical treatment for his cardiac and cerebrovascular diseases for a long period.
He suffered an advanced acute myocardial infarction, complicated with a serious heart shock, on train on December 17, Juche 100 (2011) for a great mental and physical strain caused by his uninterrupted field guidance tour for the building of a thriving nation.
Every possible first-aid measure was taken immediately but he passed away at 08:30 on December 17.
An autopsy on December 18 fully confirmed the diagnosis of his diseases.
KPA Servicepersons and People of DPRK Vow to Remain True to Leadership of Kim Jong Un

Pyongyang, December 19 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Il, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army, passed away from a great mental and physical strain at 08:30 December 17, 2011, on train during a field guidance tour.
The WPK Central Committee and Central Military Commission, DPRK National Defence Commission, Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly and Cabinet released a notice on Saturday informing the WPK members, servicepersons and all other people of his passing away.
