North Korea Sanctions Act of 2009 S. 837
This bill was introduced by Senator Sam Brownback on April 20, 2009 to require that North Korea be listed as a state sponsor of terrorism, to ensure that human rights is a prominent issue in negotiations between the United States and North Korea, and for other purposes. As of April 22, 2009 the 5 cosponsors of this bill include Sen. Ensign, Sen. Cornyn, Sen. Bunning, Sen. Inhofe, and Sen.Coburn. This bill is referred to the Committee on Foreign Relations.
