US-DPRK Verification Agreement: State Department Special Briefing October 11 2008

The State Department held this special briefing to announce that the United States and the DPRK hard reached agreement on a verification protocol (see the following fact sheet: http://www.state.gov/r/pa/prs/ps/2008/oct/110924.htm or http://www.ncnk.org/resources/publications/Verification_Fact_Sheet_US_State_Dept_Oct_11_08.doc/file_view). As a result of the agreement, the Secretary of State rescinded the designation of North Korea as a State Sponsor of Terror.
