A child born in China between a Chinese father and a North Korean mother enters South Korea -- Which nationality is the child?
This event presents a documentary film, "Children on the Border (경계에 선 아이들)" done by a South Korean non-profit organization Save North and New Korea (also known as Save NK), depicting the reality that children born in a third country (outside the Korean peninsula) from a North Korean defector parent live in.
This screening event will take place in Reiss Auditorium (Reiss Science Building, Room 103) at Georgetown University on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at 7-8:30pm. The screening will be followed by a Q&A session with a North Korean defector who similarly experienced the story depicted in the film.
