The General Board of Church and Society will host a 3-day Peace on the Korean Peninsula Forum, to learn about the unrest and tension on the Korean Peninsula and what as people of faith can do. The forum is co-sponsored by the Korea Peace Committee.
The Peace on the Korean Peninsula Forum will be held on November 13-15, 2017 in the United Methodist Building in Washington D.C. on Capitol Hill. Participants will hear from experts on the history of conflict in Korea, faithful advocacy, peacebuilding, nuclear security, and foreign policy. There will also be an opportunity to meet with your Congressional representative.
It will be a time of worship, hearing from experts and gaining resources to continue and “pursue what makes for peace and mutual up building.“ (Romans 14:19)
