Reporting on North Korea: Limitations and Opportunities

As North Korea becomes increasingly willing to engage with the international community and Washington seeks to revive denuclearization talks with Pyongyang, reporting on the Korean peninsula has become integral in how the world views the authoritarian state. Mr. Johnathan Cheng, Seoul Bureau Chief for the Wall Street Journal, will discuss the challenges of reporting on North Korea, provide an on the ground update on the current state of affairs, and offer insights into the future of Korean relations.
