[Webcast] North Korea and the Coronavirus

North Korea was one of the first countries to close its borders with the outbreak of COVID-19 in China. While Pyongyang took this step to protect against the spread of COVID-19 domestically, it has harmed the North Korean economy. However, despite the economic costs and healthcare concerns, North Korea has continued to conduct missile tests.

KEI will livestream a discussion of the health, social, and economic challenges of COVID-19 for North Korea, as well as why it might be continuing to conduct missile tests during a global crisis.

This event will be livestreamed on Zoom with an interactive Q&A session. To ask a question of the speakers please use the Zoom Q&A function.

Please RSVP below to receive the webinar link on the day of the event.
