Stacy Nam is the DPRK Program Director for the Mennonite Central Committee (MCC). MCC is a global nonprofit that works in relief, development, and peacebuilding in 45 countries. MCC has actively engaged in humanitarian work in North Korea since 1996. Programs in DPRK have included agriculture training with cooperative farms and scientists, placing English teachers, humanitarian aid, and supporting pediatric hospitals. MCC's Northeast Asia program works alongside advocacy offices in Washington DC, the United Nations in NY, and Ottawa in Canada to pursue peace and reconciliation. Stacy is a public health and international development specialist. She has supported communities to address health disparities, disease prevention, and strengthening faith-based and policy partnerships. She was a Kathryn W. Davis Peace Fellow in 2022. She received her Master's in Public Health from the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health.
