This document, released October 3, 2007, is the text agreed to by the six parties in the Second Phase of the Sixth Session of the Six Party Talks, which took place from 27 to 30 September 2007. DPRK agreed to disable its nuclear facilities and declare its nuclear programs by the end of the year, and the United States agreed to "fulfill its commitments to the DPRK in parallel with the DPRK's actions based on consensus reached at the meetings of the Working Group on Normalization of DPRK-U.S. Relations."
Six Party Talks
This agreement laid out a framework for the Six Parties to implement the September 19, 2005 joint statement on the Denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula, and marked the beginning of an intensified negotiating process under the Six Party Talks.

At the third round of the Six Party Talks, held from June 23 to the 26, 2004, the parties stressed "the need for words for words and actions for actions." The parties "agreed in principle" that the fourth round of talks would take place in September 2004.
