North Korea Sanctions Legislation: Comparing Three Bills under Active Consideration in Congress

A NCNK resource comparing the three related North Korea sanctions bills under consideration during the 114th Congress (2015-2016): H.R. 757 (the “North Korea Sanctions Enforcement Act of 2016”), was introduced to the House by Rep. Ed Royce in February 2015; an amended version passed the House on a 418-2 vote on January 12, 2016. In the Senate, S. 1747 (also the “North Korea Sanctions Enforcement Act”) was introduced by Senators Robert Menendez and Lindsay Graham in July 2015. More recently, Senator Cory Gardner (with Senators Marco Rubio, and James Risch as original co-sponsors) introduced bill S. 2144, the “North Korea Sanctions and Policy Enhancement Act.” | READ MORE
