Resolution introduced by Senator Mark Kirk (R-IL) encouraging the reunion of Korean Americans and their relatives in North Korea.
Senate bill introduced shortly after North Korea's February 2013 nuclear test, providing a Sense of Congress on issues related to nonproliferation, sanctions, and human rights issues, and requiring the State Department to lead a review of the U.S. government's North Korea policy. The bill was approved by the Senate, but the House did not take action on it.
Concurrent Resolution condemning North Korea's December 12, 2012 missile launch. The resolution was agreed to in the House on January 1, 2013, however no action on it was taken in the Senate.

Senators John Kerry and Jon Kyl offered two competing amendments to the Senate version of the 2012 Farm Bill. Kerry's amendment, adopted by a vote of 59-40, would prohibit title II assistance from the Food for Peace program going to North Korea unless authorized by a presidential waiver. Kyl's amendment, which failed 43-56, would ban such assistance to North Korea, and would not allow for a waiver.
A concurrent resolution introduced by Rep. Chris Smith (R-NJ) expressing the Sense of Congress that the government of China should stop the forced repatriation of North Korean refugees, and allow the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees access to all North Korean refugees residing in China.
A Senate Resolution passed in the 111th Congress (2nd Session) in response to the shelling of Yeonpyeong Island, condemning the attack by the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea against the Republic of Korea, and affirming support for the United StatesRepublic of Korea alliance.
A bill introduced by Representative Ed Royce (R-CA) in the 112th Congress, which seeks to develop a strategy to assist stateless children from North Korea by calling on State Department to consider how to facilitate the adoption of North Korean children by United States citizens.
This resolution was agreed to in the House on May 25, 2010. It expresses condolences to the families and loved ones of the sailors of the Republic of Korea Ship Cheonan who were killed on March 26, 2010, supports the findings and conclusions of the Republic of Korea's investigation report and condemns North Korea for sinking the Cheonan. It also calls for an apology by North Korea, urges international community support to the ROK and implementation of Security Council Resolutions 1695, 1718, and 1874.
